At KDH we have two aged care facilities. Caladenia Nursing Home is a high level, residential facility and Dianella Hostel an Ageing in Place residential facility.

Caladenia Nursing Home

Caladenia is a Commonwealth-funded, high level residential facility providing two single rooms with bathroom/shower facilities, 14 single and 7 double rooms with shared facilities and one booked respite room. Subject to availability, there is an opportunity for couples to be accommodated in shared rooms.

Continuity of care is assured through the delivery of 24 hour care by our experienced nursing staff. The facility is co-located within the Kilmore District Health site allowing for ready access to more complex medical care should the need arise.

Dianella Hostel

Dianella Hostel is a Commonwealth-funded, Ageing in Place residential facility providing 29 permanent care rooms and 1-2 respite rooms. Subject to availability, there is an opportunity for couples to be accommodated in adjoining rooms.

Ten residents are accommodated in each of the three adjoining houses, bringing a homely atmosphere to the residence. A fourth house accommodates the administration and staff areas, the main dining room, hairdressing salon and laundry. All rooms are single occupancy with ensuite facilities.

Experienced nursing and personal care staff are available 24 hours a day and the close proximity to the hospitals allows for ready access to medical care should the need arise.
