Anyone over the age of 12 years old is now able and recommended to be vaccinated for COVID-19.
When can I have my COVID-19 booster?
You are eligible for a COVID-19 booster dose if:

you are 18 years and older, and
-
have had your second dose of your primary course (dose 1 and 2) of COVID-19 vaccination at least 6 months ago.
What vaccine will I get for my booster?
The Pfizer vaccine is approved by the TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) and recommended by ATAGI as a COVID-19 booster dose. This is regardless of which vaccine you had for your first 2 doses.
What if I can't have the Pfizer vaccine for medical reasons?
You will be able to have the AstraZeneca vaccine if you are unable to have Pfizer due to medical reasons.
