When will it be my turn?

When will I be able to get vaccinated?

Anyone over the age of 12 years old is now able and recommended to be vaccinated for COVID-19.

When can I have my COVID-19 booster?

You are eligible for a COVID-19 booster dose if:

  • you are 18 years and older, and

  • have had your second dose of your primary course (dose 1 and 2) of COVID-19 vaccination at least 6 months ago.

What vaccine will I get for my booster?

The Pfizer vaccine is approved by the TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) and recommended by ATAGI as a COVID-19 booster dose. This is regardless of which vaccine you had for your first 2 doses.

What if I can't have the Pfizer vaccine for medical reasons?

You will be able to have the AstraZeneca vaccine if you are unable to have Pfizer due to medical reasons.
