Helen Clancy

Helen is a Consumer Representative for Kilmore District Health (KDH). Helen is a member of the Community Advisory Subcommittee and the Consumer Experience Action Group.

Helen joined KDH as a Consumer Representative in December 2014.

As a Registered Nurse and Midwife Helen's training and nursing experiences involved working in Melbourne Public Hospitals, followed by over twenty years in Rural Health.

Helen is a member of the Assumption College Advisory Council and a long-standing volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Helen is also a member of the Kilmore Tennis Club and the Kilmore Golf Club, actively participating in both sports.

Helen is a keen gardener and enjoys spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

Annabelle Cleeland

Annabelle Cleeland was appointed to the Kilmore District Health Quality and Safety Committee in 2020.

Ms Cleeland is editor of Stock & Land, managing a team of journalists who write for Victoria’s agricultural industry. Ms Cleeland holds a bachelor of Media & Communications and is Hawaii Pacific University Dean's List Scholar. Her audience knowledge and community passion awarded her Fairfax Future Leader, Women of the Year in 2018. Ms Cleeland has held committee appointments at the Rural Press Club of Victoria, Seymour Wool Marketing Group and the Australian Sheep & Wool Show.

Ms Cleeland, together with her husband David, operate a wool-growing property near Seymour. In April 2019, David and Annabelle welcomed their son, Arthur, who was born at Kilmore District Health. 

Ms Cleeland is passionate about accessible public health and maternal support for regional Victorians.

Matthew Chandikunju

Matthew is a Consumer Representative for Kilmore District Health (KDH). Matthew is a member of the Diversity, Inclusion and Health Literacy Action Group.

Deb Davis

Deb has been volunteering at Kilmore District Health since 2016. She was involved in the establishment of the Knowing How We’re Going Boards in 2017. Deb is a member of the Community Advisory Subcommittee and Consumer Experience Action Group.


Deb has worked for a number of large legal firms in support roles. Her longest employment was with our national science organisation CSIRO as Executive Assistant to Special Counsel and later as a Paralegal.


Deb has also been involved with many other community organisations as a volunteer with Riding for the Disabled; Publicity Secretary and Area Monitor for Safety House; Basketball Club Committee Secretary, Team Manager, Fundraising & Sponsorship Co‑ordinator and Junior Coach; Preston Parents & Citizens Youth Club Member and Junior Instructor, Committee Secretary and Club Fundraising for the RCH Good Friday Appeal.


Deb believes volunteering is a wonderful way of connecting with our community and is honoured to assist vulnerable community members. She is also passionate about being a community representative voice advising on the services and care KDH provides. Deb's interest in the consumer aspect of health was due to 4 spinal surgeries and rehab as well as having two daughters who worked as a Paramedic and Midwife.


Deb has 3 amazing daughters and 5 adorable grandchildren. She also enjoys theatre, movies, music, reading and travel.

Darren Harris

Darren is a Consumer Representative for Kilmore District Health (KDH). Darren became a Consumer Representative at KDH in 2020 and is a member of the Community Advisory Subcommittee.  


Maneet Hora

Maneet Hora is a nursing student currently studying at Deakin University. Maneets journey with Kilmore District Health (KDH) began in 2016. As a Kilmore International School student, Maneet began volunteering at Dianella Hostel and grew a love for healthcare and policy making, Maneet began working with the staff of KDH as a member of committees covering topics like child safety in a hospital setting.  


Maneet is a member of the Community Advisory Subcommittee and aims to provide a unique perspective, as a young member of the community.


Maneets passions include public health, social justice and netball.


Emma Henderson

Emma is a child protection and youth justice lawyer. She lives on a hobby farm in Kilmore with her husband and their two sons. She delivered both her children at the Kilmore District Health.

She joined the Community Advisory Subcommittee in April 2021. She is passionate about the care and protection of children and using her legal and policy skills to contribute to her local community.

Jan Kneebone

Jan is a Consumer Representative for Kilmore District Health (KDH). Jan is a member of the Diversity, Inclusion and Health Literacy Action Group. 


Julie Metaxotos

Julie's career consists of 13 years banking experience with Westpac Group followed by 4 years in BT Financial Advice Services with the Planning Service Quality Team. Julie is currently working with a Financial Planning Firm in Collins Street Melbourne, as a Client Service Manager.


Following a motor vehicle accident in 2013, 60 surgeries, 9 months of hospitalisation and rehabilitation has enabled Julie to return to work. It also resulted in the publication of a book and invitations to speak to community and professional groups throughout Australia such as Road Trauma Services Victoria. 


Julie joined Kilmore District Health (KDH) Community Advisory Subcommittee as a Consumer Representative in September 2017.


Julie's passion is client and patient experience. Julie loves to share her thoughts and ideas to help better the services provided from a consumer’s perspective. 


Julie's hobbies mainly involve being outdoors, long walks and going to the beach with family. For fitness Julie enjoys pilates and going to the gym, she also loves to cook!

Gwenda Phillips

Gwenda is a Consumer Representative for Kilmore District Health (KDH). Gwenda is a member of the Community Advisory Subcommittee and the Diversity, Inclusion and Health Literacy Action Group. 


Ros Stewart

Ros joined Kilmore District Health as a volunteer in 2018. Ros is currently a member of the Community Advisory Subcommittee and the Diversity, Inclusion and Health Literacy Action Group.


Ros has a strong connection to the local community and is involved with Mitchell Suicide Prevention Network, Rotary EClub 9790, Broadford Cemetery Trust, Broadford Community Garden, Broadford Living & Learning Centre Advisory Committee and Broadford Uniting Church.


Ros was an Accredited Home/ACF Medicine Review Pharmacist for 23 years and received Victorian Pharmacist Medal in 2019. Ros is currently undertaking a Diploma of Counselling.


Ros enjoys spending quality time with her Mum who is a resident at Caladenia Nursing Home, playing with her dog Violet and gardening.
