Kilmore District Health is pleased to be part of the Care Opinion Platform which allows you as a consumer to give real time feedback about our services and support.
This year as part of the NAIDOC Week theme of Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up!, Care Opinion are holding two community workshops to provide an opportunity to explore the platform as a safe, neutral space to encourage honest conversations about health, community and aged care experiences for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
This will help to foster respectful relationships between services and their community, and to enable First Nations voices to be shared safely and taken as opportunities to learn and partner.
The Health Consumers Council will discuss the reasons it is so important to hear the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and how sharing stories via Care Opinion can help to overcome some of the barriers to giving feedback.
Further information, including how to register for the workshop can be found below.
