Red Apple Day

Wednesday 21 June is Red Apple Day - Bowel Cancer Australia’s Annual Giving Day, when Australians are encouraged to support the vital work of Bowel Cancer Australia.

Bowel Cancer claims the lives of 5,354 Australians every year, including 290 people under the age of 50.

99% of bowel cancer cases can be treated successfully if found early. Fewer than 50% are detected early.

54% of people diagnosed with bowel cancer are male. 46% of people diagnosed with bowel cancer are female.

Bowel Cancer is the deadliest cancer for young people aged 25-44 years.
