Student Placements
Undergraduate Nursing Student Placement
All undergraduate Nursing Student placements need to be requested via Placeright. We offer Acute Medical/Surgical, Urgent Care Centre, District Nursing, Theatre and Aged Care placements.
Continuity of Care Experience
Any Midwifery student wishing to attend appointments/birth suite under the Continuity of Care experience are required to register for accreditation prior to attendance.
Please email Melanie.Riseley@nh.org.au for further details. Accreditation is for the calendar year. ID will be given to ensure access on the day.
Student accommodation is available onsite

Shared bathrooms, kitchen, dining, lounge and laundry facilities

BYO doona/blanket/pillow. Linen is provided

$50 key deposit, $30 per night.

including course being undertaken, training organisation, length and dates of placement requested and why you would like to complete placement at Kilmore District Health. We support placement in Allied Health, ground maintenance and food services.
To be eligible for student placement you must have (if over 18) a current Police Check and Working With Children check, up to date immunisation history (documented) and attend an orientation session as required.
